Stunt Rally is a free, open-source 3D racing game that blends rally driving with acrobatic stunt tracks. Built on OGRE and released under the GPLv3, it runs natively on GNU/Linux and Windows, with a one-line Flatpak install.
What it is
The game ships with a generous amount of content: roughly 232 tracks across 40 sceneries — including other planets and surreal locations — plus 33 vehicles ranging from regular rally cars to Sci-Fi hovering craft. Tracks span everything from short, easy circuits to complex stunt courses with jumps, skewed loops, 3D-winding pipes, and obstacles.
Game modes
- Single Race, Tutorials, Championships, Challenges, Collections for solo play
- Multiplayer and Split-Screen for up to 6 players
- Replays and Ghost drive for studying your lines
Controllers are fully supported — gamepads and steering wheels both work out of the box.
Track editor
One of the standout features is the built-in 3D spline-based track editor. You can design your own circuits from scratch or modify existing ones, then race on what you built.
